Surprise!!!
The doctor can tell from the ultrasound that they are fraternal twins rather than identical-- meaning they each came from their own egg and they have their own sacs and placentas. They were both very active and moving all around-- kicking each other in the heads. They are healthy and doing well. And mom is too. This explains so much. No wonder I am twice as hungry, twice as tired, and larger at this point than with the others. It all makes so much sense now. :)
I am at 13 weeks and they are due on February 18th. Hmm. . . unlike the other pregnancies I don't think I will go overdue with this one. :)

My prayers are with you as you are making the mental adjustment. These two spirits could not be coming to better parents!
Wow! What a shock!! Congratulations! I have to say I'm glad it's you and not me because I'm not sure I could handle that mentally. Knowing you, you will do great and these special spirits are coming to a great home! I wish you the best with this pregnancy and that you can carry them as long as possible so that they can be healthy and strong when they arrive.

I know exactly how you feel not sure if you should laugh or cry (I did both).
You have many wonderful things to look forward to. Twins are twice the fun, work, stress, blessings, diapers, laundry and wonderful momments.

Oh, I'm so excited for you! Twins are amazing and fun, but it's very different than having just one. I just saw your blog! Oh my. Congratulations!!! Twins, you are the woman. That is so wonderful.
I am glad that you put a counter on your blog, and also added and changed a few things around. I have abunchof counter on my blogg too. one of them is actually counting down until Rob grduates. It is fun to watch the numbers get smaller!
